Shane Lowney - Working for Under the Bridge Engineering
Shane Lowney has worked for Under the Bridge Engineering for 14
years. Lowney graduated from the Florida Institute of Technology in 2001
and immediately began working for Under the Bridge. Lowney has earned a
project management position at the company due to his excellent work
and his ability to manage engineering teams to provide solutions to
companies in the area that need to improve or stabilize their mechanical
operations. Lowney trained extensively at Under the Bridge and today
also works as a freelancer for various companies in Tampa Bay, Florida,
designing mechanical parts and schematics to help with their operations.
Under the Bridge Engineering was founded in 1997 by two brothers who were also trained in mechanical engineering. They started as a company devoted to developing solutions for small auto design companies in the area developing better engine modifications and other mechanical products. As Under the Bridge started to work with more companies and business partners in the Tampa Bay area, the company’s reputation and revenue grew. The company started adding more employees and expanding its services to all companies that needed mechanical design and engineering services. By the time Shane Lowney joined the company in 2001 as a junior mechanical engineer, the company was working with numerous companies in the area designing a wide range of mechanical products.
Shane Lowney quickly rose in the company. In only three years, he was the Director of Project Management, in charge of seven five-member project teams. Lowney lives with his wife Catherine in Tampa Bay. Lowney has learned many things about mechanical engineering and managing teams of professionals during his 14 years with the company.
